Lessons

As a guitarist who is fortunate enough to make a living teaching and performing, I feel gratified. The great educators of my past were gracious to me. They shared their knowledge and experience abundantly. I feel it's my responsibility and privilege to give back to the music that was entrusted to me.

I am an enthusiastic and friendly guitar teacher who believes that lessons can be both fun and productive. Over the past 10 years, I have taught a wide range of students, from children taking their first guitar lessons, to university guitar entrance exams.

Although Classical, Flamenco and finger style are my specialties, I do teach most styles such as singer songwriter, Rock, Jazz, Music theory and so on. Electric guitar I only teach beginner to intermediate in that I am by nature a finger picker.

My lessons are:
  1. $25.00 for a half hour
  2. $45.00 for an hour
I do the lessons on a month-to-month basis, for example a half hour lesson would be $100.00 for a month and we would meet at the same time every week.

My home studio in Central Denver is located near 8th and Emerson in Capitol Hill. I have an abundant amount of music recordings, tabs, books, extra guitars and recording capabilities (we can record the lesson or a project to put to mp3).

I also teach privately as a guest artist at Denver School of the Arts, located at 7111 Montview Blvd.

My available hours for teaching are Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm at various times; so I am pretty flexible to most peoples schedule. Please contact me for further details or questions. References available upon request.
